Oh sorry... 80.7° Average for this July so far.

Click Preliminary Monthly Data, Bridgeport, then Go.

Yeah pretty crazy seeing that last 4 yrs in the Top 7 Hottest Julys.

Keep in mind its still the 20th. The average will drop a bit all week after this cold front. But I think we have a chance to finish first.

Next 10-days for NH are forecast at upper 60s to low 80s. Avg IMO 75 degrees. For 10 days, that might bring entire month's average about 77-78. I think, if not first, it'll still be in the top 3, or top 5 as the lowest.

Cold fronts battling and pushing the warm airmass away. Some cells packing a punch even though they look small and scattered.

I rarely post an entire U.S map but here's the current real feel temps.

In the 90s in CT at 6:30pm. It may look like we're the north most area with real feels that hot but it's in the 90s out West all the way north to Canada. They're dewpoints & humidity are so dry that the real feel is not warmer than the actual temp.

Sunday Partly sunny, with a high near 84.

Monday Partly sunny, with a high near 84.

Tuesday A chance of showers, then showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm after noon. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 81.

Wednesday Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Thursday Partly sunny, with a high near 82. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Friday Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Saturday Mostly sunny, with a high near 81. Chance of precipitation is 30%.

Now this is looking like a good summer week! I edited this for reading convenience..there can be showers almost anytime next week but I think we had our heat wave and its back to normal weather.

So 3 out of the last 5 updates show a Tropical system coming up the coast. It's still so far out and it's not showing it to be really strong but GFS continues to show something. Dates on top. Looks like around August 4th time frame.

Relief is finally here..! What a difference this morning! Today is going to be a gorgeous day with low humidty and lower 80's. I have 2 weeks of outdoor work to take care of!

* OVERALL THEME...PERIODS OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS INTO LATE-WEEK * AN ACTIVE WEATHER PATTERN SETUP CONTINUES INTO THE WEEKEND * NO SIGN OF OPPRESSIVE HEAT AND HUMIDITY RETURNING ANY TIME SOON

WHILE MUGGIER CONDITIONS WITH HIGHER DEWPOINTS MAY OCCUR AT TIMES...VERY LOW CONFIDENCE OF A RETURN OF OPPRESSIVE HEAT
