Does anyone know what’s being built on the cleared land at the corner of Irmo Drive and Friarsgate Boulevard?

From what I’ve heard it’s just an expansion of Sharing God’s Love.

The renderings don’t look like anything over the top but then again I’m not sure what else you can do as a first step with Finlay Park. It’s a much needed and refreshing upgrade. Although I will say, the overlook platforms are an awesome idea. Plenty of good views of downtown from there.

Anyone remember when the post office lease is up? Hopefully soon and most definitely before Carolina Crossroads project is finished.

Oh, and still wanting that mini beach

Anyone else notice in one of the plans the words “Taylor Street Road Diet” over Taylor Street? They should do that down the entire street until the last block which should remain “undieted.”

On the Master Plan the Post Office is Grayed Out and there is a gray path going across Assembly St to the front of the Judicial Center on Main Street. Is that supposed to be a future crossing bridge connecting to a parking garage on Main?
