ordinary I'd say why do we need a third Wal-mart but there really isn't much out that way so it's probably a good thing for the people that live & work in that area of town. I never go out that way so I really have no clue what other options are out there for shopping.

A lot of people out Bethel way shop in Tarboro. Maybe this will bring some of that back to Greenville. I have to admit it's kind of a weird place for a Walmart though.

Wal-Mart has absolutely fallen in love with Pitt County in recent months.

There are 3 Walmart campus stores in existence. I wouldn't be surprised if they've checked into putting one on ECU property. Oh the thought...

Has anyone mentioned what's being built in Belvoir? Something like a Dollar Tree or something similar. I also heard of plans for a Hess Station.

Very interesting. I thought Georgetown Commons was its name. Interesting they're embracing the "West End" name/location from East Carolina.

The Mayor refers to it as Campus Edge. Don't know if that's his nickname for it or if that was the working title.

I was unaware that the Taft Family Offices also had developments in Raleigh...

Hopefully the one here will prove to be profitable & they'll build another one similar to this one in another spot in the uptown area, maybe one that is not just for students.
