Has there been any new work started on Dickinson yet? Has the timeline been formally altered given the initial contractor was booted?

The contractor filed for bankruptcy but hasn’t been replaced. Work hasn’t been done in months and the supplies lot by 9th street is overgrown.

Check WITN, they had an article a couple days ago about JSmith Civil filing bankruptcy.

Its like they heard me: https://www.reflector.com/news/local...a959a4054.html

Its almost criminal how any and every road project in Greenville gets delayed or cancelled. Feels extraordinarily prohibitive to the city.

It’s not just here. JSmith screwed Raleigh over as well. I saw a story on WRAL a few months ago about a stalled JSmith project at Atlantic Ave & Spring Forest Rd around the time they also stopped work here.

Goldsboro too. JSmith was the contractor for the William Street (US-117) widening project between US-70 and Tommy's Road.

Yay, can't tell you how stoked I am for another car wash. 5 years from now, I am going to open a drive thru Halloween Express in one of these car washes that goes out of business.

Homewood Suites held their grand opening recently....

118 more rooms in Greenville.

Is this the first hotel to open in Greenville since the 73-room Fairfield Inn in 2018?
