Chamber of Commerce/Young Professionals did a survey that less than 15% of graduates wanted to stay in Greenville or thought there was an opportunity for them here. That number feels high to be honest; outside of Vidant and Thermo Fisher, where are they going to go? DSM and Grady White?
Another store down in that Greenville Blvd Wal-Mart center shopping area. Whatever happened to the talk of the convention center purchasing that land? Was it all rumor?
Fairly certain the CVB doesn't want to touch that convention center area. From what I understand they've got under a decade until it's off the books and then they are bailing out of there.

Are you saying the convention center would cease to be the official city sponsored center and become the hilton's (group) convention center?
No biggie. I always go up to 102 and make a right anyway. Then I hang a left on Juanita and ride that out to Hines. Watch out for the radar trap at the end of Juanita, cops like to sit by the cemetery there. Most people I know drive through Ayden on 102. Too many traffic lights and 20 MPH speed limits.
