Lime is one of the great assets of ECU and Greenville overall. Let’s hope the City of Greenville and ECU are exploring avenues to keep them here one way or another.

One can only hope they’ll stay. Are there any numbers available on how many ECU students stick around after graduating?

Chamber of Commerce/Young Professionals did a survey that less than 15% of graduates wanted to stay in Greenville or thought there was an opportunity for them here. That number feels high to be honest; outside of Vidant and Thermo Fisher, where are they going to go? DSM and Grady White?

Another store down in that Greenville Blvd Wal-Mart center shopping area. Whatever happened to the talk of the convention center purchasing that land? Was it all rumor?

Fairly certain the CVB doesn't want to touch that convention center area. From what I understand they've got under a decade until it's off the books and then they are bailing out of there.

Contract approved for GUC operations center project - Daily Reflector

Glad to see they're keeping some of the contracts with local builders and keeping the money in the county.

Are you saying the convention center would cease to be the official city sponsored center and become the hilton's (group) convention center?
