I disagree. Some cities have a very active singles/dating scene whereas others don't. We are not appreciated everywhere. Black women have struggled with this issue for years.
I'm curious about who you were talking about when you said you're not appreciated. If you're talking about men of other races, then I don't relly disagree, but my comment was specifically in response to the cities listed by OP, and all of these cities have visible and strong black communities that encompass every socioeconomic and educational attainment range (some more than others obvs). Orlando and Providence seem like the oddballs here, but I'd 100% agree with your point if the OP had mentioned cities that were completely leftfield, like Portland, Pittsburgh or SLC.
*Unfortunately, we will never be 100% accepted in a country built on racism, even in the cities OP mentioned, but Atlanta comes closest to this kind of "utopia", so I suppose it should/will win this poll.
That's the same reason why they have list like this the Cities most opportunities for the average man, woman or Ethnic groups looking for soul mate work live or culture not all 50 cities going to be the same not all going to be great. The list that points out on a black men forum on you tube list of 15 cities too meet attractive black woman the cities did make sense based on variety of topics I live in one of the cities now and been to other ones on the list and I must say it was straight As far as big cities or smaller like Columbus Ohio Nashville Boston or Charlotte then the Houston Atlanta New York
Or Los Angeles which La New York for everyone perhaps and Houston
I think the DMV gets overrated in this conversation. Usually the argument goes something like "they have master's degrees, houses and 100K jobs." The absence of those things are generally not disqualifying in the eyes of men.
Los Angeles gets underrated in this conversation. Tons of extremely fit and attractive Black women. And there's not as much competition for them because (a) the gender ratio is more skewed in men's favor compared to DC and (b) Black men in California are far more likely to date out. So it's an ideal place to be if you're a Black man who dates Black women.

If you want to see the largest collection of attractive Black women in America, go to an Equinox or an Erewhon in Los Angeles. You will also see quite a few at Runyon Canyon.
I haven't been to CA much, but aside from that, it makes sense that my top picks were NYC and DC lol...
OP's poll is trash because there's no option for LA, which is easily the best of the lot IMHO. You can come across women like this in Inglewood or Leimert Park and they're actually accessible and down to earth because so many successful Black men there are not trying to date Black women. As a result, a lot of the Black women there will have this strange inferiority complex where they might be a 7.5 in reality but think of themselves as a 6. In any other city they would be getting 4-5X the attention.
Another reason Los Angeles is on top IMO. Here is the % of NH Black women between the ages of 18-29 with a Normal BMI.
California - 60%
New York - 37.7%
District of Columbia - 37.5%
Texas - 35.7%
Maryland - 34.3%
Illinois - 30.8%
Georgia - 20.7%
BMI is a metric created for other races. It is useless for Black people. I'm 6'2 and 215 pounds of muscle. I have been overweight since college according to the BMI scale even when I was 200 lbs running track in the SEC. Black women are thick so what is the normal BMI for a Black woman?

That's nonsense. BMI has increased substantially among Americans of all races and ethnicities (and much of the world for that matter) over the last 50 years. Most people are not getting more muscular, they are getting fatter, and we know this because abdominal obesity has also substantially increased over the last 50 years. The median waist size for an American woman today is around 39 inches. That's up from about 28 inches in 1950.
