I've heard Miami is pretty unwelcoming for non-Spanish speakers and pretty racist. Is this true?

I live in St Louis and I agree with your analysis of your week stay. Of course not all but a lot. St. Louis doesn't dress very well either. A well dressed reasonably fit will stand out in St Louis.

It really is. I was raised in one of those cities and currently live in another. When it comes to beautiful black women in those cities they are both THE TRUTH!

I can't speak for everybody but I didn't have the best time in Miami when I visited a couple of years ago and it was for those 2 reasons you mentioned. Recently visited Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood area and it was a completely different vibe than Miami.

Most guys went there too Miami love it and live there even NBA black basketball players
Top 5 metros of black population in the U.S plus strong
Hip hop influence plus Caribbean and black latino mix
Not racial like La which a whole different thing. Probably politics which not necessarily race

What interesting is that for the sistas, the best places would be cities like San Diego, Seattle, LA and SF due to those cities having about as many, if not more Black men than women. Some of that has to do with the military presence in those areas. So, for the sistas, try a city with a strong military presence, if you prefer Black men that is.
I agree Phoenix is another spot too Denver Dallas is

Alot of beautiful women at the same time little more of a single black male presence then women just by living
Here and historically not all but a good amount be married younger with a family then the average age say 30 the locals not all but a good amount.. you will find alot of non locals relocating here mainly single from the
