There have been 25 murders in Albuquerque so far this year, not 26. Two bodies were found in an apartment complex a couple of weeks ago and that was later ruled to be a murder-suicide.

The most recent suspected homicide in Albuquerque happened early last week at a park frequented by homeless people.

Guns are banned in France this is why you do not see them but they are rough, I grew up in those project, there were very few guns but lot of fighting, stabbing, throwing pitbulls at people, 15 guys with bats beating the hell off a guy...
Gun does not make you tough, quite the opposite actually, even a 6 year old kid can kill you with a gun... Like that 13 year old kid who randomly killed a man in Seattle

In light of nationwide(and crossing over to Canada and the UK) protest/riots in concern of police brutality. What impact do you guys see this having regarding police-involved murders and maybe others that are justly/unjustly counted as negligent? Do you see them being counted as homicides in the future eventually? If that ever happens, then I imagine a lot of cities statistics will be looking a bit different; at least a 5% change.

maybe it is the electroshock the US needed.
Look, news never tell the true story, they just sell drama.
In the US, sightly less than 50% of all the people killed by a cop is black but the media wants to make us believe they are all black... Just 3 years ago a cop killed an Australian woman who called them in Minneapolis... It is more of how do they train cops and also the big elephant in the room... Guns, since anyone can have a gun, cops are stressed out when approaching someone because many cops are killed during traffic stops....

In that case the guy was not armed, he resisted arrest but was not violent, he passively resisted and that does not justify kneeling on his neck for 8 minutes... Most police officers are nice but like everywhere, people will only remember the bad apple...

Police officers should publicly say that they do not support what this cop did and Trump instead of calming the situation, he is provocative as well... +-700 people are killed by the police every year, most are armed criminal but some are unarmed non violent offender and this is not right, it says "SERVE AND PROTECT"...

A former US president once said : "On TV, only ads tell the truth, all the rest are lying" and news (CNN, FOX...) are not telling truth, they are pushing their agenda.
A proof?
Why do you think people believe NYC is more dangerous than Houston...?
Why do you think people are shocked by the US deportation of undocumented criminal but at the same time praise Dannemark... A country that will put asylum seeker in an isolated island, in jail...? AGENDA

I expect to see a big crime wave this summer and fall, with the police too demoralized/apathetic to do anything about it.

Agenda must be failing in this instance, hardly anyone in the 21st century considers NYC to be more dangerous than Houston, part of its appeal is that despite being a large city the crime is relatively low.

And you've omitted a an abundant amount of statistics. Black Americans make up >14% of the population.
[*]Black Americans are 3x more likely to be murdered by police compared to White Americans
[*]Black Americans 1.3x more likely to be unarmed compared to White Americans
[*]47% of unarmed people killed by the 100 largest city police departments were black. These police departments killed unarmed black people at a rate 4 times higher than unarmed white people.
[*]Black people were 38% of people killed by these 100 police departments despite being only 21% of the population in their jurisdictions.
[*]36% of unarmed people killed by police were black in 2015 despite black people being only 13% of the U.S. population
[*]In Minnesota, Black Americans are nearly four times as likely to be killed by law enforcement, with Black victims comprising 20 percent of those killed, despite comprising only 5 percent of the overall population.

Not sure why you are being so dismissive about the blatant disproportionate rate Black Americans are being killed by Law Enforce Officers.
