I think Colorado Springs is at 4 right now. There was like 26 all of last year. Overall not to many for a city of 416,000 people. Obviouslly everyone would like their respective cities to be at 0, unfortunatly I don't think will see that happen.

2009 - 29, year total = 173
2008 - 33, year total = 179
2007 - 43, year total = 224
2006 - 44, year total = 198
2005 - 38, year total = 212
* numbers include unfounded offenses (justified, accidents, manslaugther etc.)
shootings - 87
2001 - 170, year total = 985
* numbers do not include suicides and police involved shootings.
Chicago is at 61 through 3/16/11. There were 75 through 3/31/10.
