When the guy who runs that site started it a few years ago, it only covered Maryland and DC. He's been expanding it a little bit each year to cover more areas. The last time I talked to him, he said if he does expand it again next year, it will cover NYC.
yea i hope so cause nyc hasnt had a legit homicide map since 2005, and on 2008 we had a murder book which wasn't a map but listed all the homicides in the city each day.
yup seems like 2006 levels to me although the 8 mass murders are part of it but 48 murders without the mass murder would be close to 2007. not so good.
