Back home. Snip finished. Mom tired from little sleep last night. Mom heading for bed now to ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ. Whispers was such a good boy though he did show his feral side when was brought into the treatment room for surgical prep. Though VERY drugged, he fought just as a feral.......a couple of causalities with scratches on me and my vet, but nothing we both couldn't handle. He is now alert and in his safest of all safest places.....in his "hammock" inside my box spring. Mom will be on bed....Whispers will be under and in bed. Perfect solution to a stressful day. Now to the ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZz.
THANK YOU everyone for your thoughts and prayers. Anon, Whisps went right into the carrier head first. The only tricky part came when he went into the treatment room, and darn it, I wish they could have done everything in the exam room. But, it's done. I'm glad it happened, though, the way it did, because now when I say um we better do this or that in this fashion and why, my vet will now have better understanding of why I say what I do.
