It would be nice to see another team win it for a change versus the usual Miami, San Antonio and Lakers.
They better get HCA if they plan on beating the Spurs 4 times in a 7 games series

Why am I beyond nervous for this Raptors/Knicks game tonight. A Knicks win would put me in a bad mood for the whole week (until the Raps get revenge in Toronto next Sunday). Someone please talk me off the ledge.

100% Agree.

Lakers are one of the top dynasty's around the league and if it takes them 5 years to get back in the playoffs (my prediction) and another 10 to get back to the finals.....they still won a whole bunch of championships and you can't be going year after year, just not feasible.

Hat's off to Kobe for passing Jordan for the #3 spot on the scorers list.

Of current players, Kobe and Duncan are on almost any sane person all-time team either as a starter or bench....and that's a heckuva accomplishment to finish your career in the top 10 or so of all-time.

Amateurs. Everyone knows you pull guns in the lockerroom. Right Gilbert? Gilbert? Where did ya go?

Congrats to Kobe Bryant. Passing Michael Jordan in any NBA achievement is beyond stellar.

Plenty of ball left with several teams eyeing that HCA but yeah a good advantage to have, nothing comes easy in the playoffs

They also signed free agent Shaquille O'Neal, drafted Derek Fisher. So again it will take a combination of all those things over time.
When they made those moves they had a much more talented team that could draw trades and attract free agents. It's not going to be that easy. I agree though, it's going to take a while.

True, much tougher situation currently. Thats why I said that it will take several seasons. Quite a challenge for this franchise.

Spurs get the win in Denver tonight. Kawhi leads the team in scoring with 18 points and had a career high 6 blocks with 5 steals to go along with it.
