Barring injury to one of their two stars, OKC will make the playoffs. Luckily, Durant was able to comeback early. Had he waited until January, then OKC would have had a lot of ground to cover. They are four games back of the eighth spot with 60 games left. These guys are capable of winning 20 of the next 23 games. Not to take away from the good starts from Phoenix, Sacramento and New Orleans but the Thunder when healthy are far superior than them. The Thunder should be back in the playoff picture by New Years Day.

Probably because they played their bench about as many minutes as the starters and Detroit got to shoot a lot of FT's.

Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Detroit Pistons - Box Score - December 07, 2014 - ESPN

Plus it's just one game.

Those three teams are the biggest bunch of garbage in the whole league. I don't know how anyone could consider Carmelo Anthony to be a star player anymore. 4-18 lol.

Pistola nailed it with their response right above this one.

I was worried but they came back earlier than I thought and 4 games they should make up no problem....but they don't have much margin for error.

Yeah it surprised me since the Pistons were on a 10 game losing streak

They won by 12. Sorry but I'm just not following where you are trying to go with this.

OKC healthy is a good team in the west but I don't see them back in the WCF at this moment but things could change over the course of the year.

Barring anything catastrophic OKC will be in the playoffs. Where they will land in the seeding is a different conversation. I don't think there is anything out of the ordinary with the way they look. They played a quarter of the season without their primary ball handler and their primary scorer. So it is an adjustment of the rest of the team having them back. They will smooth it out. Still, as others have noted, their margin for error is very slim.

I guess I just expected OKC to beat the sixers by 25 or more

From this: New York Knicks' Carmelo Anthony at heart of team discord, sources say - ESPN New York

to this: Melo's knee now Knicks' biggest problem - Knicks Blog - ESPN New York

The Bricks are now a dumpster fire that is officially raging out of control. The good news: starting on Monday, everybody can officially be traded to blow the whole organization up, and start from scratch. The bad news: aside from Stoudamire's expiring contract and probably Shumpert, the organization doesn't have many tradable assets.
