I haven't been. The media around Toronto has really been talking them up. They're a good team and seem to share the ball better than most anybody. I think there's five legit East title claimants with them, the Bulls, Raptors, Wizards and Cleveland.

Probably the 2 best games on the schedule for Wednesday evening, and you need to either go to a bar or have league pass to watch those 2 games if you are out of market.
The game selection this year has been poor. I'm getting tired of seeing the Lakers and Knicks. Teams like the Nuggets, Kings, and Pelicans are getting more games on National TV than the Wizards, Hawks and Raptors. I'm not too happy with that.

See my post from last week.

Wall has definitely made strides with his game this year and has played a more efficient style.

Atlanta has been balling too, 9 in a row, and nobody is talking about them. They actually leapfrogged the Wizards last week and are currently the 2nd best team in the East. Teague has been great.

East is starting to look like 4-5 teams on the same level more so than the Elite 2 teams we were expecting (Chicago, Cleveland). We will see if this holds up.
They of course dropped back since then, but they are still playing very well. Al Horford is starting to get his rhythm back from being his pec injury.

Paul Millsap, an All-Star last year who has really turned into a very good Larry Johnson-ish type player.

Al Horford, who has been a perennial All-Star for years but has had a couple of injuries to both his pec muscles that has cost him large portions of two years.

Role players: Kyle Korver (sharpshooter), Mike Scott (Stretch 4), Thabo Sefolosha (defensive specialist), Shelvin Mack (solid back up PG), Dennis Schroder (another back PG, 1st round pick last year who is starting to play well too) and a couple of other talented pieces.

They are a very good team but I still think they need another big before they can be serious contender. I think Horford would be better at the 4 but they need a rim protector to make that work.

I'm going to wait until about 60 games in before I reach more solid conclusions but you make some good points.

It's just nice to see the East have a few more respectable teams.

Looks like a DVR night tonight! Football game (Titans & Jaguars) is just as bad. Luckily UConn/Duke is tonight so at least SOMETHING is worth watching. Dubs/Thunder at 10:30 should be an excellent game however.

I know we don't normally post video highlights here, but I think for this game it is worth it since it will likely be the NBA's regular season game of the year. I am just sad my Spurs came out on the losing end of this and that ESPN chose to air another game.

Wow.

Dallas getting Rondo for what is apparently a draft pick and a bench player......that's scary for the west power balance as Dallas is already a good team.
