Dew point in the low 50s this morning. I was outside having my coffee and it was soooo nice to feel the dry air again. Can't wait for September and having monsoon behind us.

Thunder is one of the only things that can wake me up in the morning! It's been muggy down here for the past week or so. It's not too bad but I can tell the difference. And yeah it will eventually happen. I got caught in the big storm last October.

Dew point is back up to 55 at 2:30 pm. It could get stormy for the All Star Game.

Had 'some' thunder yesterday, and some dark clouds, but no rain. Unless it rained somewhere else nearby. Don't see any rain forecasts in the next few days either. Yeah, a little "muggy" but not unbearable. I did turn the cooler on for a while yesterday but mostly just having the windows open is working okay.

Back to single digit humidity again yesterday. You could really feel the difference. Not bad today, either.

Just heard about Tuscon's huge storm today. The past days have been a hit or miss in the valley. Occasional lightning but that's it.

We had one early storm blast through here around 2pm yesterday then a larger slower moving system drizzled rain on us all evening. Yay, no reason to run the drip system for a 4th week in a row.

Massive thunderstorm currently hitting East Mesa. Downpouring rain, damaging winds, and a lot of lightning.

Update: as of 10:17. Lightning stike in my front yard.

Hope you're ok! The closest I've been to a strike was about 2 acres over and that was a SHOCKER (no pun intended). Almost broke our windows.

Oh wow! Well this dang thing sounded like a shotgun going off at our front door. Our house for some reason is a lightning rod. Its been struck twice before.
