If you're headed for Flagstaff...take a sweater!! Last time I spent an August weekend up there, at Mormon Lake, I nearly froze! And it rained nearly the whole time.

I went to Heber a few years ago in August of an 80 degree day a few hour long rain shower turned into snow. So while driving back there was snow along side the freeway. I'm going up to Potatoe Lake though.

Oh my, you're too young to remember. Dan Quayle, former VP and Ben's dad, famously insisted to a class of elementary students that "potato" had an "e" on the end of it. He was widely ridiculed for his mistake and it sort of defines him to this day.

I'm funnin with ya.

We had a HUGE storm here Saturday....my grass is trying to take over and it feels like Houston out there...(muggy)...it didn't rain it poured...and poured...and poured.
The monsoon started a little late for us but since it did it has been a doozy....hate the humidity but loving the rain.
However I was out late in the yard the other day working, and the mosquitoes were coming around..( I distinctly heard one singing.."Than God for the Blood")

Can someone say "West Nile Virus.."? ...or as we call it "West Vile Nirus"
