$16.28 per hour minimum wage, and likely employers paying more than that to hire and keep workers, doesn't help with consumer retail prices either... eggs or otherwise.

IIRC Washington placed a close 4th place behind California Hawaii and New York for the most expensive groceries in the country. Over $1,000 a month for an average family. This is par for us, $268 last week for a pretty pathetic haul of groceries, no fillet mignon or wagyu beef here.
With most retailers needing to pay $20/hr to retain any checkers or stockers(because these people have to pay $1,500 on up just for a studio, and pay these prices for their own food too).

Triple, compared to Hemlock's post about $14.99 in Monroe.

It is over.

Down in Arizona, five dozen eggs for $20.99. 5 dollars for a dozen eggs.

Turns out the state of Arizona agricultural department decided to issue a "regulation". Oh yeah, Arizona has a Democrat for Governor.

Diesel a lot cheaper at $3.59/ gallon. Wonder how long before the Arizona Governor "fixes" that problem.

Worst yet, 39 degrees and snowing.

Why do the Democrats always mess with the weather???
