Nice warm, dry, sunny perfect summer day in the 70s, the kind that makes living here worth it.

Yes it is nice today. Marine layer this morning but it burned off by about noon. We got out in the upper pasture under the Eagle tree and I watched hubby pull tansy!

Horses seem to be enjoying the weather and one of our worker bees hitched a ride back home :-)

Second day of our cool marine layer sticking around the whole day instead of burning off. I’m sure some of you are unhappy but we are loving it! Especially with fireworks coming tonight we are VERY happy about it still being relatively cool and damp now.

There’s a lot of tall grass out on our Rochester prairie this year with all this rain and eventually it will dry out and become a hazard but I don’t think the risk is extreme yet and that is a good thing :-)

It's raining quite a bit and has been all morning. A hoodie will get soaked, raincoat is better. Gray clouds and a dark, wet day so far. It's predicted to stop raining this evening for the fireworks. 57 degrees this afternoon (edited to add temperature).

What I wouldn't give for 'one' day of rain here in Vancouver. I'm actually listening to 'rainy day jazz' just to remind me of it. Haven't seen it in weeks and likely wont until summer is over. At least the temps are near perfect (low 70s) recently. This summer has been quite pleasant so far except for 3 days of 90s. I just avoid going out mid-day and it isn't so bad.

Today was cloudy the first half with mixed sun and clouds the second half - perfect for outdoor activities.

No I was a day off. The rain should stop for tomorrow's fireworks. I am not a fan of fireworks so got the day wrong. The rain has not stopped by the way, and I got a couple of miles of hiking in but got soaked because I hate wearing the raincoat.

We are going to *get* them both nights around here. We're getting some already tonight.

Things get a bit 'wilder' in the country, I would imagine. Fewer restrictions, perhaps. Or folks just really don't care nor does law enforcement crack down as much. It's more 'free and wild' out yonder. haha
