Our deer keep us from having some nicer plants here.
Down south the deer did that too until our son and his dog moved in.
I’m a dog guy so we will have a cattle dog here soon.
I remember the first I put in a few hundred dollars of strawberries

Yes, we never have deer or other varmints in the yard.
Course, the dogs are protecting the goats.... so....
We had a fenced in garden plot for awhile, but no more... it's just one more thing to keep up. I satisfy my gardening thing with a few potted flowers. and our succulent rock garden out front, out of the goat zone.

Today was mostly cloudy with a few sun breaks here in Vancouver. I didn't take a picture of clouds. Most of those views all the same to me. Is Seattle having a super dry February or is it just us down in the Willamette Valley? Portland has only had about 0.3" of precipitation this month and it's already the 18th, which is a bit unnerving for wildfire season.
