It was sunny and chilly out today after the storm passed. Tomorrow looks to be warming up a bit into the weekend.

Weather picture for today... deep blue skies over our eagle nest. Hard to pick just one picture when they're being all picturesque.

Sunny and chilly again today. The high was ~ 40 degrees in Vancouver. You can see the snow in our local hills I took a photo of while on a walk. Old man winter is still hangin' on a bit with these nights dropping below freezing. So, any precipitation that happens to occur in the next 24 hours could produce snow depending on your local forecast and elevation.

Those are nice eagle pics.
My favorite is the first one.

This cold front is rather large.
I can feel it 850 miles away.
We might get snow on our hill down here.

We got another half inch of snow (the first stuff didn't melt), roads are icy, schools delayed again. It was 20 degrees this am. All the outdoor water is frozen (bird baths etc.). It warms up in the day but not enough to melt much of the snow then it freezes again. (We are near sea level).

Our first snow fall of 2021 is 95% gone and now we got another over night inch of snow which at this time is 50% melted. Broken clouds and some sun shine and high 30's.

Many area schools are now closing for the day (started out with delays) due to icy conditions.
