This all reads like a little more than two cents to me!
Reminds me of at least one challenge I have along these lines.
"He knows them already."
Or so the theory goes, He already knows all there is to know. Me included, and I can't be any more brutally honest than I'm already being. As He already knows, or so the story goes. I've not got resentments or wounds, but all my doubts, questions go unanswered. Not a peep, but since He already knows my doubts, questions and reasons for them, what need is there for me to be transparent?
All of which can be a little confusing to say the least, but I can't be any more transparent than this. Whether it be what's "in my heart" and/or what He already knows. So where is the disconnect? There is certainly no lack of interest, transparency or invitation on my part. No need for yelling, screaming or crying either.
Might be that emotions are getting the best of us sometimes. Not necessarily leading us toward the truth but whatever it is our emotions are most badly needing in the way of fulfillment. Fortunately, I am at peace without any such relationship with the "unseen Author of Love."
Must be a heady experience to think or feel you have such a relationship, but my life experience doesn't feel in any way lacking without all that going on. Real or imagined.

That is an interesting observation on your part, both in terms of what it is childlike and how I'm in a good place, but the the question still remains. For me anyway. About where the disconnect actually exists and why...
Seems I have "checked all the boxes" in terms of being transparent, honest, inviting and the rest. Since He knows all anyway, why no sign? Not even a peep?
I guess that's a rhetorical question, because I have heard every manner of answer possible. None of which proves very convincing. More like a lot of "smoke and mirrors" far as I'm concerned, but whatever the answer(s), those who offer them up also seem in a good place too.
To that end, I suppose "whatever works" is the bottom line. What I have established as the truth and/or reality along these lines works best for me.
