The Gnostics, in their reading of Scripture, acknowledged no such debt; for they believed that the Hebrew Bible was the written revelation of an inferior creator god (dêmiourgos), filled with lies intended to cloud the minds and judgment of the spiritual human beings (pneumatikoi) whom this Demiurge was intent on ...

Anthroposophy is a philosophy founded in the early 20th century by the esotericist Rudolf Steiner that postulates the existence of an objective, intellectually comprehensible spiritual world, accessible to human experience. Wikipedia

What are the beliefs of Theosophy?
Theosophy teaches that the purpose of human life is spiritual emancipation and claims that the human soul undergoes reincarnation upon bodily death according to a process of karma. It promotes values of universal brotherhood and social improvement, although it does not stipulate particular ethical codes.

Perhaps the comments of HP Blavatsky on the Gnostic text Pistis Sophia helped you on your way?

The speculations of esotericists and the like are unnecessarily obfuscatory and laden down by jargon. The same is true of the Time Theorists who futilely attempt to talk about timing the "speed of time" on a "time length," etc. Sorting through the jargon and unnecessarily esoteric crap makes much of the writings impotent for true enlightenment.

MP, even you have to admit that is hilarious coming from you, considering your "synthesis" fits the description above.

My synthesis is not obfuscatory to anyone who actually knows the relevant science. Arach had no trouble deciphering it.

and esoteric texts are not obfuscatory to anyone familiar with the landscape they address.

science is not relevant or necessary for Self-Realization.

I know of no better way for self-realization to happen when the statement of belief about god is based on how the universe works ... a house with a solid built footer.

There is more than one way tzaph, but there are clearly less reliable ways too.

It is when one desires conformity. It helps to keep everyone on the same cookie-cut page. Otherwise it's like birth in that it's a uniquely personal journey.

Faith or confidence in science seems a solid foundation. But that would mean that generations of sages, saints, bodhisattvas, jivanmuktas, mystics etc that lived before 1600 or so were just lucky? Nope.

If a traditional spiritual path produced enlightened ones - that lineage & path is good enough for any serious moderns too.
