Thanks Beth.

Jammie, I went there and asked and most of the concerts are included with a seasons pass, I just wasn't sure about a daily pass.

Beth and Rapture, thank you both for clarifying it. I was definitely wrong in my statement about having to pay extra for several of the shows. According to your info and the info on the site posted, it is just the Moody Blues and Eagles that require more then just an admission's pass to get in. Sorry cause I wasn't quite accurate.

Because moderators like roller coasters and rock & roll.

FYI.... for the month of June the Hard Rock Park is offering specials on admissions. Residents of both NC & SC can get an admission of $39 with a purchase at the gate & valid identification. They are also selling tickets to groups of 4+ for $40 each and specials for active & retired military, too!

Here is the June newsletter with some other news....

Thank you baylovers. Maybe I'll check it out this month. Have you been there? Sorry if you posted and I missed it, I can't read through the whole thread again. My neighbor is working there and said to wait until next year to go because there's not much in there, what do you think?

does anyone know the height restrictions on the coasters yet? My 9 year old loves the coasters but he is able to make it on the 52 inch coasters but not 54.

Haven't been yet. My wife & I are thinking about this weekend if it is not too hot. I'll post a "Baylover" review if we make the venture!

Had the experience of going last night...

Went a little later and there wasn't a huge crowd, which is both good and bad. Several things were closed already but I wasn't buying what they were selling anyway, so it's really a moot point. At any rate, the rides were pretty cool. Did the Zepplin and Life in the Fast Lane coasters. Didn't do anything that spins circles... equilibrium issues. Food was ok, for park food but I honestly feel like it is overpriced for what you get.

If admission was 1/2 what it is, it might be worth it, to me, at least. I still think it's a great thing for our area to have and once they get some of the expansion completed, it will truly begin to take shape... There just needs to be more there than what there currently is.

If they have enough concerts, perhaps a season pass would be worth it, but other than that... no thanks.
