Golfgal....if you see this....just saw that MPX (NWS Chanhassen) is dropping the freezing rain advisory they had up for the metro into parts of western Wisconsin. temps should remain just above freezing and little in the way of significant precip expected.

Long range guidance we use are just terribly too cold in this pattern....wants to be too close to more normal or climo conditions which is colder. Thus long range NWS uses doesnt want to warm up as much as what eventually occurs. We have seen that a whole lot up in NW MN and eastern ND.

Yeah, it officially got to 43 here. Some drizzel this morning, but no ice.
Its supposed to rain on Wednesday, at least the forecast I'm lookin at. We do really need the moisture. Not a single flake on the ground here, I'm predicting a brown Christmas (but thats ok because I'm used to them growing up in Missiouri)

I think we got enough snow last winter to last the next three

TWC is predicting 41F tomorrow and 47F on Sunday. The local radio station says 53F on Sunday. Either way a nice weekend shapping up. Pretty amazing considering the shortest day of the year is on Thursday already.

We got some snow yesterday, but most of it has melted. Its supposed to be in the mid-40's Christmas weekend and continue towards New Years weekend. Golf on Christmas Day anyone!?
