Been hibernating since yesterday...and don't have to go anywhere today either. Thank god.

About an hour south of the Twin Cities and looking at 8+ inches total so I believe. Wind is picking up too.

This my friends...is one of the reasons I won't be in Minnesota after I retire!

Stay warm...and drive safe all!

We are late bloomers up here. Zero snow but Lake Superior is mad.

Hundreds of folks down in Canal Park taking pictures of the waves and up at Stony Point, and Brighton Beach yesterday. A few surfers were out there near Lester River and between Brighton Beach also. Lots of passing cars stop and watch them.

So much for most of it being rain.

Drive safely - it is a little tricky driving right now.

Just came in from clearing the driveway. Straight sleet/snow mix, and sleet with 40 mph winds is no joke. Heard several rumbles of thunder, also. The main break we've caught up here thus far is the snow hasn't been able to accumulate much except in drifts due to the winds. Still......what awful weather. My dad in Georgia is being a total sadist and texting me pictures of his azaleas blooming in the warm sunshine.

I went out to get my dogs - they were out having a wonderful time in this mess - and I almost got blown into my neighbor's yard. Looking at the weather this will all melt away soon.

I started a thread for this late April snowstorm. Since Minnesota is involved I'll leave it here. Due to lack of time this weekend I'll only be posting updates in here.

Wow, it’s missing us (twin cities), looking like not even rain

Facebook feed said whiteout conditions in Lafayette County, WI southwest of Madison right now. 3-7'' expected, but nothing north of the narrow band there.

So grateful that didn't make it up here, because I just......well......you know.
