I hear you on that! I been spoiled here with above normal snowfalls in past decade. In fact it took only 8 yrs to have more snow than any other decade.

Sorry for the delay..
Normal season snowfall is 54.4"

Normal Snowfall by Month:
October: 0.6"
November: 9.3"
December: 11.9"
January: 12.2"
February: 7.7"
March: 10.3"
April: 2.4"

Total for this winter is 67.3" so far. That's 13th snowiest winter.

Use this link. https://w2.weather.gov/climate/xmacis.php?wfo=mpx

You can see the monthly snowfall totals over the years on record. After this page you can sort by month and see February 2019 was the snowiest month on record with 39 inches.

Interesting to hear that reference because this winter is the snowiest winter since 2010-11 season.

In snows in the Minneapolis more Aprils than it does not.

When Minneapolis Has Its First & Last Snowfalls
The first snowfall of winter for Minneapolis usually arrives in November. But at least once every four years, snow comes as early as October.

The season's last snowfall typically happens in April, although at least one in four Aprils receive no fresh snow. Very rarely a few snowflakes land in May.
https://www.currentresults.com/Weath...n-averages.php

On average, two days every April see snow, while the average April snow total is 2.4 inches.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Climat...0%93Saint_Paul

Note: that's Minneapolis, whereas you specified Minnesota. It snows more, and more often, up north (Duluth averages 6.9 inches of April spread out over an average of 4.6 snowy April days).
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duluth,_Minnesota#Climate

I have no idea how any thinking person can live in Minnesota for more than a year or two and think that it only snows in April 'once every decade or so'...

I guess I should have said the Twin Cities.

I've got family on the Iron Range and they told me it snowed in June once up there.

Well last year I made lots of money plowing April 3rd 12 inch storm, followed by the 20+ on April 15th. All my monthly snow contracts go to per time in April.

Had some big, fat flakes fly here yesterday evening, but thankfully nothing stuck. Warmer today and then temps looking glorious for later this week. Took a drive yesterday and the local rivers, including the Rum and St. Croix, are still really high with a lot of flooded areas adjacent. One little patch of snow left in the far corner of my backyard, and my maples are budding.
