Seems a lot of opinion from those who do not have real experience with UoP. Personally I do not know if UIF is any better than any other. What I do know personally, I've attended Lawrence Institute of Technology, now known as Lawrence Technical University, (rated within the top 25 private schools in America). I have also attended The University of Phoenix (rated best online private university). UoP is not meant for the recent high school graduate, it is designed for working adults who have careers and/or families. The faculty was similar between the schools, some fantastic, some not so much. The curriculum at UoP is not a breeze, nor is the pace, which is why many who attempt it fail. This may explain why so many want to disavow UoP as a true college. Best advice is to check with potential desired employers, do they recognize the UoP degree, this is how and why I chose to attend The University of Phoenix. By the way, I received an instant $10,000.00 a year raise from my employer plus advancement once I did graduate from UoP. I know this post is an older post, but hopefully this helps those who may still be looking for answers about UoP.

Really??? Not ranked on either top 100 of FT and USNews which are the two most respected rankings.
