I lived in South Beach in the late 80's, and we hung out a fair amount at a club in Hallandale, I think right at 95 and Hallandale Beach Blvd... but I'm not positive. For the life of me, I can't remember the name???

Back in the late '80s/very early '90s, there was a Goth club called "The Dungeon" that was in the basement of a regular Dance club on US 1/Fed Hwy somewhere between Deerfield Beach and Boca. For the life of me I can't remember the name of the host club, or even exactly where it was at. I vaguely remember that the building was closed due to some sort of zoning or permit issues.
Does anyone remember this club?

I remember going to Grady's for lunch. Cheap (small) drafts of beer back in the late 70's. Great little bar. I suppose it's long gone now. Havent been in the area a for decades now.

Crazy Gregg died in 2003. I had to look it up and didn't realize it was so long ago.

Grady's was down the street from Brownies if I remember?

Brownies was another one of those local 'dive like' legendary' saloons!

It's so cool to hear all these locals tell us younger users how cool Broward was in the 1980's....before we chased all the college students out and forced them to Daytona.

I could tell you stories about Lauderdale going all the way back to the 50's.

I was born there!

If you pick up a copy of "Where The Boys Are" .. I'll even tell you where to look for me as a kid in the movie!

Fortunately, from everything that I hear .. I left at just the right time .. almost 20 years ago!
