DEI initiatives are superficial, performative ways to check the box on the scale of woke-ness. Has nothing to do with education. The reality is DEI has isolated the very people it intended to bring together. Florida has made great strides to stop the craziness called DEI.

If DEI was employed in a team sport setting, it would be a laughing matter when it came to performing against the 'competition. However lucky for us... the actual abilities and skill sets of different players in different positions determines who plays. Skin color, religion, social status, national origin etc. plays no part in the 'team' selection process. Why is that? Imagine if that was true in all educational opportunities. However that wouldn't fit the overall objective of the left... requiring equal outcome as opposed to what common sense would dictate = equal opportunity.

Florida proved you don't have to be the highest paying State to have good education. Our cost-of-living is near the midpoint nationally, & our taxes are much lower than elsewhere. Thus, we don't need to pay educators $120k/yr. like they do up East.

Gov DeSantis raised entry-level Teacher salaries, which helps FLA with the nationwide Teacher shortage. FLA was 26th highest, & is now 9th:

Most FLA residents are pleased w/ Gov. DeSantis, & we won't tolerate anyone trying to California our Florida!

If Liberal states want to teach reverse racism...go for it. They should also teach what Democrats did to the Native Americans...rounded them up and put them on reservations during the "Trail of Tears"...not a Republican in sight.

Democrats also rounded up Japanese during WW2 & put them in camps...

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Intern...0the%20country.

Democrat Margaret Sanger started Planned Parenthood to promote Eugenics to control populations of what they saw as undesireables...like Blacks.

If you are going to teach DEI...I hope they are teaching how racist Democrats have been through history, & how Republicans ended Slavery.
Yes the Republicans ended slavery. And then, the Republicans and the Democrats switched sides. Now, the modern Republicans have regressed to the "slaves benefited from slavery so we can justify the fact that they were considered chattel and farm animals" mentality, while the modern Democrats are pushing for progress.

Margaret Sanger did NOT promote Eugenics with Planned Parenthood. It was to expand existing birth control options to Blacks. Options that white people were already using legally. If you want to pretend she wanted to use the program to eradicate blacks, then you have to pretend the entire country was already trying to eradicate whites. It's a really STUPID argument to make.

Your post sounds like you got it off a KKK pamphlet.

Dems are still racist in their actions... they just don't think it's so, the forest for the trees. The White liberal is the worst enemy to America ... guess who said that?

No, they never switched sides. Planned Parenthood was started by Margaret Sanger, a staunch supporter of eugenics who wanted abortion to thin out the Black population which she considered to be sub-standard to the whites. And lo, and behold, the Dem party still supports abortion and Planned Parenthood.

And the KKK were Democrats.

Imagine if the NBA and/or NFL was limited to 13% Blacks on each team...that is what DEI would dictate.

Another racist org started by Democrats...thx for reminding me. Senator Byrd, Joe Biden's mentor, was a KKK leader.

Sorry to interrupt the digital Klan meeting, but it’s clear the goal of this thread was to stir the pot on a controversial issue…controversial because if the rest of the country agreed with Rhonda Santis, he’d be the Republican nominee and we’d would regress to the 1950s A.K.A. “Make America Great Again.”

Thankfully the majority of nationwide voters aren’t as stupid as floriDUH. Also Black Americans, who Affirmative Action was intended for to correct historical injustices benefited very little from. This is due to the dilution of the measure - once they used the word “minority” it became a free for all where white women, LGBTQ whites, Asians (outside of the education sector) all became the biggest beneficiaries.

Overall, if you’re not a large political donor or lobbying on behalf of some well backed issue, you’re powerless and pretty much wasting your time obsessing over politics.

The Klan meeting is at DNC headquarters... tell us how it goes.

At least nine states have limit DEI programs on college campuses Florida, Mississippi, North Carolina, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas and Utah have adopted such laws. Protecting the integrity of our educational system is paramount, especially against Marxist inspired DEI programs that divide, lie, create hate and supports inequities.

Soros is a big sponsor of DEI, that's enough for most people to realize the social malignant nature of it. Not to mention, those who support the ideology are also divisive and would love to see the social fabric of our nation destroyed.

Side note: I just passed by Palm Beach International Airport 20 minutes ago and there is a literal MAGA parade going on as we speak for their orange god tRump who was seen flying out of PBIA…it literally happens 2-3 times a week here in West Palm Beach - You’d think these mouth breathers would be used to it by now…it’s apparent many don’t have much to do on a Saturday.
It’s posts like this that make Independents want to vote for Trump.
