Yep! You are correct. Jim married Mary Washakie. She was his 3rd. wife.

Now it is your turn.

Sorry for the delay....church annual meeting today.

Anyway, I'll stay w/Chief Washakie again.

He is the only known Native American up until that time and for quite a while after that had what happen when he died?

No, this happened right away, or shortly after he died.

Good guess, tho not what I had in mind.

He was buried with full military honors at Fort Washakie, Wyoming.

Upon his death on Feb. 20, 1900, Chief Washakie was accorded a full military funeral by the United States government. He is the only known Indian chief in history to have been given such an honor

People in St. Louis laughed at Jim Bridger for saying a fish could swim from the Atlantic Ocean to the Pacific Ocean. But there is such a place where this could happen in Wyoming. There is a creek that you could stand in with one foot in the Pacific Ocean watershed and one in the Atlantic Ocean watershed. Where is this place and what is this creek called?

I may be wrong about this, but wasn't this already mentioned earlier in the thread?

Not that I'm aware of. I just searched the thread for Two Oceans Pass and Two Oceans Creek and did not find either in previous posts.

Yes 3-Oaks, you are correct, your turn.
