Many years ago, a waiter was reciting the specials of the day to me and my friends, and one of these items was "Catch" Lorraine.
When he asked if any of us were interested in "Catch" Lorraine, I replied, "That depends on how fast she is running".
His response was a blank stare, but...I am used to that...
Don't you hate it when people feel the need to brag about their hand tools?
You're a sharp one, Mister.
I just returned home from accompanying my husband to his chemo session. There was a guy there who was the LOUDEST TALKER, ever. He kept saying, "Well, SUPPOSABLY..." and at one point I snorted in a very unladylike fashion. Then the woman in the chair next to us started whispering to her friend about, "all them homosexuals" who were moving to Hawaii. I am afraid I didn't stick around to hear the reasons all "them homosexuals" were heading off to Hawaii, but I'm sure it was reasonable and very intelligent.
So many times these bicyclists are riding in the road it's self impeding motorized traffic. They CAN'T GO THE SPEED LIMIT so why should they be aloud to slow down all the traffic behind them ?? More times than not the bicyclist is creating unsafe conditions.. They feel entitled to ride in the full lane... Of course then you have those Idiotic shared use bike lanes down town the lame brain child of our Major.
They are suppose to. I got pulled over on my bike once when I rolled thru a stop sign at about 3:30am one morning.
Bike are suppose to ride in traffic.
(I bolded the "it's self" monstrosity because this is the fifth time I've seen this written in the last two weeks. It's ridiculous.)
Your can't make it up. - I wonder what else "YOUR" can't do... besides communicate correctly.
The real world continues to prove whose the boss.
