My neighbors had chicks, but I could never conversate with them. My problem was exasperated because unlike the fellow in the quote, I was not Dr. Doolittle.

In a comment on an article about Blackstone investments pulling out of Russia due to the war in Ukraine:

"....it appears their ((Russia's) economy is tittering on the edge of recession".

Doubt if many are laughing other than Putin's opponents, whom I hope are laughing all the way to the bank.

"Russia is ten minue away from ukraine wherease
US another part of the continent."

About as knowledgeable of geography as of English and economy, evidently.

I don't know, but I just found an ad for a volunteer nurse's assistant's handmade costume for a young girl advertised as being that of a "Candy Stripper"!
