Hmmm...Based on this writing sample, it looks like that person has the requisite qualifications for employment at CNN...

LOL, some of these are funny! I have a degree in English, though, and I'm not really anal-retentive about the use, and occasional abuse, of English. I forget certain spelling rules in other languages, so someone from another country could easily accuse me of not having a good command of his or her language. It does sometimes give one an air of superiority, though, to be able to rip apart a truly terrible grammatical mishap. We are the grammar police--keeping the language safe since 1884.
