It's a contract job. The contract is ending soon and they probably won't renew. That happens with contract work.
I get that but I heard from a colleague that the person I replaced was planning to extend her leave up to 18 months and so I was hoping to get a 6 month extension. But with the issues that have happened of late, it looks like the employer will have ammo to cut me loose. It just sucks that it had to come to this, I was hoping to get good references.
Any tips on how to handle tomorrow's meeting? If I see a HR rep in the meeting, I'll know my fate.
You need to listen. It sounds to me as if your contract will not be extended no matter what you do. Take it as a learning lesson to improve for your next job.

EVEN IF they are not letting the OP go. This micromanager boss sounds like a complete waste of space making the OP's job here not worth keeping. There are far better employers elsewhere.
Notice of termination is 2 weeks or pay in lieu thereof. And this 6 minute email issue is not the first time she does it. The other day an email came in and only 4 minutes later she asked out loud in front of everyone if I could answer it. I foolishly told her not now, I'm busy (true), then she asked my colleague to do it and went on to say that if I felt like the workload was too much for me, just let her know. WTF! 4 minutes! Had she just let me finish was I was doing at that moment, I could've handled it a few minutes later. This supervisor has zero management experience. She got an internal promotion but has no actual management experience or education.
But I know she has the power to get me fired and it sucks since this was supposed to be a new beginning with a new leader. P.S. this would be the second talking to she requests. Last week she took me aside in a private area of the office and talked to me about my communication skills with the client. Then the client replied to an 8 day old email with an overreaction and I think that may have been the trigger for the supervisor to escalate disciplinary measures against me.
Its one thing if a manager you doubt complains to you about something but there's a pattern if clients are dropping off and/or lodging complaints about you. That's hitting the business where it hurts.
If it was me, I'd be listening very very carefully in that meeting. If the complaints and the problems with your work don't seem clear, I'd ask for clarification. Something isn't setting right with the way you are working now. I'd really want to find out exactly why that is, if not for this soon-to-end-job, but for the future. Hearing it from the POV of people who can decide your fate is going to matter even if its uncomfortable to hear.
