Its currently 1c in Tallahassee right now with a cold front passing through, not those small weak cold fronts Melbourne gets but a actual COLD front introducing much colder air.
Yeah it has been a very cold January, earlier this month places like Nashville were having afternoon temps around 0 F and lows around -5 F and there was actually accumulation in parts of the Panhandle, not sure if we'll see any here though the precipitation looks to be far from over, and it's 28 F right now with a 20 F dew point.
It's actually -2 C right now here.
I'm not complaining, I never thought I would see snow in Tallahassee.
Sleeping pills make me sleep a little too well, I notice whenever I take them I need to sleep like 10-12 hours to feel refreshed. If I sleep the standard 7-8 hours after taking a sleeping pill I wake up feeling groggy and still real tired.
The roads are still wet so no accumulation there, it's snowing pretty lightly. It's mostly sleet but with clear flakes falling as well. I'd say about 65% sleet and 35% snowflakes are falling right now.
Ok well thats fine, but surely the grass is white? That is so weird because here it doesn't matter if it is wet, the snow will start to stick when it gets to about 0.5c.
The 0z run had the +0c line reaching us at 9am now the 12z has the +0 line reaching us at 3pm. It keeps going south with each run.
The snow now lasts from 6am to 12am with a maximum of +2c. I think we could get an all snow low (on the hills maybe) if the negative uppers manage to stay over us.
