LGA's bus + subway combination is likely faster than JFK's Airtrain + subway. I couldn't imagine riding a crowded train with luggage though, even riding with a bookbag is terrible.
If one has check in luggage, best option is a taxi.
We had 22 solar panels (and an SMA inverter) installed last week. Rising electricity costs and the fact the wife runs a business from home made us realise it was a good long term investment.
Very happy with the performance so far. A real sense of irony on Saturday - its first full day of generation - in that it was 100% overcast all day. Our first sunless day since mid Sep last year! The system still generated 11.5kW (we use around 15-20 kW per day on average).
The next day (mostly sunny) it managed to generate 33.0 kW so more than enough for our daily needs.
Our job now is to determine our usage throughout the day and determine which company can offer us the best combination of supply rate vs feed in rate (the latter being what they pay back for excess electricity we generate).
All in all, very pleased with the move and love tracking the stats (the inverter feeds its hourly data via bluetooth to my PC)
Always try to fly JFK rather than Newark. Newark is an inconvenient location. Jersey? My dad told relatives never book Newark Airport, he didn't want to pick them up.
Family has told us that for similar reasons Gatwick is awful.
Yep Gatwick is a pain to get to, even though it was closer to me in the UK we always prefered to fly from Heathrow as it took less time to get there! It does make me laugh how so many airports in the UK are called 'London XXX' when they are no where near London, even Heathrow is right on the extreme outskirts of what could be classed as 'London' lol...

I don't know which is the worst at doing this, but "Oslo Sandefjord" is actually 118 km from Oslo. I flew there from Newcastle with Ryanair once, and the time / cost of the flight was virtually the same as for the coach from the airport into Oslo itself!

Yeah that is pathetic! Even Oxford airport is called 'London Oxford' now Though anyone that flies with Ryanair needs their head examined anyway lol
In contrast, Nice probably has one of the most centrally located airports for any city. (Gibraltar wins I guess). It's only 5km from the city centre and actually located in the city itself, a stone's throw away from the business district and the beaches.
It is so close to the city that, except in case of major emergency, planes are prohibited to use thrust reversal as a braking system because it is too noisy.
The airport itself is relatively bland and uninteresting in terms of amenities, but its location and settings are spectacular.
