I'm happy because spring came a month early this year. Most of the trees are budding, and some are very close to flowering, and this week should be very warm for February, with constant highs between 12 and 15c. This is quite in contrast with last year, when there were no buds at all until early April.

Last spring was a nightmare of epic proportions. I could use a long, warm dry settled spring period with temps over 15+ in March and reaching 25 in May. The warmth would help evaporate the soggy ground much faster than cold air obviously, and the sun and pleasant outdoor conditions will make everything far more cheery and happy.

Yeah I heard bad reports. Well EWR was fine from Belfast but this time we booked through Dublin because Belfast is a rip off so we will do the CBP at Dublin airport which means we will become domestic passengers and then go straight through at ewr to the footcourt. We also don't have to recheck our bags which is SO conveniant.

Doha is the worst airport in earth. There are ZERO gates. I was also beaten and pushed by the security in Doha. Never going there again .
I haven't been to the Eastern Hemisphere yet really. I want to visit Aussie and Dubai eventually. But it will not be until I reach my mid-20s as my parents aren't interested.

Those Spanish streets look like they're in much better shape than ours. For one thing, there are non potholes.

I thought that was LaGuardia

Laguardia has HORRENDOUS public transit connectivity for an NYC airport. No direct train into NYC. One has to rely upon the NYAS bus to drop you off at port authority and the route is choked with traffic. The closest subway train is the 7, but has poor linkage to the airport. Taking Q72 is the quickest, but still is a long ordeal.

None of the three major airports feature direct trains into the city, which is a shame. LI MacArthur does however, despite being 50-60 miles east of Manhattan. The trains are usually crowded and peak tickets are a little pricey, although it's much cheaper than taking a taxi from JFK/EWR/LGA.
