I'm the same color as you, both tanned and untanned
and skin tone IV?
Edit: saw an old post of your saying you weren't. Either our skin colors aren't actually the same, or one of us is classifying our skin tone incorrectly.
But you can't see the pretty paint job from the inside...lol.
But yeah, widebodies are awesome.
I've never been on the newer classes of widebodies (777, etc), but I've had the privilage of flying on 747's and even on the old L-1011 Tristar - man, those were some bad-ass aircraft Sure wish they still flew those.

I thought I was until I saw ben86's post. Going just by text descriptions I just saw Mediterranean for type IV and decided, well I'm Mediterranean so I'm type IV. Until I saw what ben posted, then I thought, no type IV is way too dark for me, naturally speaking. It was a bit difficult for me because I tan so well, so that's where the confusion comes from
I can LOOK like a type IV when I sunbathe, but my natural color (like my chest, belly, upper arms, etc.) is borderline type II/III. Indoors I look darker than I really am, until I went outside with friends to the lake and they were like, whoa you look like a ghost! I have a farmer's tan. <yeah your foot is the same color as mine, but my hands are less orange and more brown than yours.
Edit: Went to the Melanin Foundation's website and got their score sheet. I scored an 18, which means I'm a slight type III since III's are 17-25. For someone of 3/4 Mediterranean ancestry, that's kinda sucky lol

If I am exposed to the sun on lighter skin I will go red like this guy, but then the next day it would just turn to brown instead of staying red.

I live in nw europe so we don't have any widebodies
The only widebody routes are to Dubai, San Fran, Abu Dhabi!
Pathetic. Airlines take advantage of the extended range of narrowbodies.
I'd love to go on 777 and 747.
Yeah that's exactly how I am. Ghost-like on the upper arm, dark from the elbow down. I can look like that, but since I work 3rd shift and don't go out in the sun like I used to, I'm not quite as dark as that. When I come back after visiting my family for 1-2 months in Puerto Rico I look like that lol, hence why I thought I was type IV, even though I'm actually not.

Hmm, I thought it was based more on how suspectible you were to sunburn and how easily you tan more than your natural skin color. I had a good contrast in that photo, right?
