I guess that's the downside to living in the boondocks.

If you work retail, why not try to transfer to same store in a different city like Adelaide or something.

Or a bold move North.

No way. I hate retail. Hate customers and the store manager is a piece of **** that deserves to have his ugly ape-like bald head cut off. I'm thinking of getting a truck license, lots of driving jobs everywhere and many of them have decent pay.

Nearly! It was quite bizarre though as at the reception they only had a few tables for about 300 guests & just random chairs dotted about, we were told the tables were reserved for the brides family & everyone else had to sit on a chair (not that there were enough anyway) & then they had a carvery with a roast dinner, quite how you were supposed to eat that on your lap I don't know, so we didn't eat anything. That's the way they do wedding receptions in Malta apparently lol

What? Terrible! It's a wedding and not a picnic.

The last wedding I was at was in Spain a few years back, and the 35C weather with wall-to-wall sunshine was not a good combination with excessive amounts of alcohol. And I ended ripping up my trousers as well while playing football with the kids.

In Finland you least get a table and a chair at a wedding, if nothing else.

Indeed, all us English lot were mighty bemused as we are used to having tables to sit at too lol...

The weird thing was it was at a really posh place too, so we were expecting a banquet like at Buckingham Palace but we didn't even have anywhere to put our drinks

I am happy because our forecast is decent for the next week and possibly beyond, with July like temperatures and plenty of sunshine. 23-25C for the rest of this week which is comfortable and pleasant in the sun
