Well you're right those are just trolls, they probably don't have any weather preference in particular, just come on to take the contrary stance to wind people up. At least people like me are consistent in their preferences and views. Yeah cold wet weather is pathetic! Any time of year, but especially in SUMMER. This is normal summer weather coming up, average is just that, average, half the time it should be above it, half below, not 100% below like most crummy months in the last year! Viva la summer.
In my opinion the ones that complain about the weather being too hot in the summer are the same clowns who whine about when it is too cold in January.
I guess I do live in an extreme climate though.
Brits are a special breed, though. The average Brit whinges day in and day out about how cold, dreary, and wet the country is veyr frequently and wishes it was hot like Spain. Well, then a heatwave comes along, and usually 2 or 3 days into the heatwave they start complaining that it's too hot, too sunny, and wish the cool, gray dampness returned. When it does, rinse and repeat again that Britain has **** weather and wished it was like Spain again lol.
Of course what people probably don't know is that the heat they want in the UK that Spain gets can't really happen in the UK, ever. Spain gets very dry heat which makes it tolerable. The heat that Britain experiences during a heatwave is the muggy, sucky kind that grips Japan and the US east coast every single summer (here in the Northeast US the temps and dew points have been on par with the Caribbean, literally)
Netweather is a poor joke. Between October - April it is literally frightening, and people with my preferences best stay away, you'd be safer walking through Moss Side on a saturday night.

Eh. I think British heat is closer to a dry heat than a muggy heat. Look at this month:
It's not Seattle heat, which is almost never muggy and devoid of any rain, but it's not Northeast-levels of humid weather — dew points rarely exceeded the low 60s, not really the extremes we can get. Spanish heat isn't as sticky as ours, but it can reach high dew points:
