No snow piles in my yard but I held them along! My neighbors still have a few!
Sunshine but forecast for the weekend is rain, and more rain! Warm temps, above average, great!
Yesterday was such a strange day as a misty, fog kept drifting in off the lake but sunshine just a mile or two away. It was neat looking as it was so low, almost like smoke.
Rain on Sunday afternoon-evening a very pleasant surprise as wasn't expecting much because we don't normally do well from rain approaching from the west. Falls of 10-15mm in various eastern suburbs/CBD
Another cool, breezy, rainy day. Too bad it's supposed to dry out tomorrow.
It always seems to be raining where you live - how many rain days a year/how much rain do you normally get? Hardly ever seems to rain here; we've had no sunshine today that I've noticed and a couple of spots of drizzle, but I'll be surprised if it's even measured 0.1mm.

120 days (so about 1 out 3 days) have precipitation greater than 0.01 in (2.5 mm). April-June are slightly wetter with 11 days per month with precipitation, October is the driest with only 8 days.
Average precipitation about 44 inches. 15 days in April are cloudy on average (cloudy equal 80% sky cover). Least cloudy months are August and September with 12 cloudy day, though October was the most clear days of the year.
London (or rather Greenwich, London) has less rainy days than here which I would have never expected. I suppose you're right.

We get about 50 inches annually. Not sure of the average number of rainy days where I live, but it's probably close to NYC's 120.

Ah. So you get twice as much rain as us, as well as almost twice as much sun. Comparing it with anywhere else, our climate seems about the most unremarkable around for a country with so many weather enthusiasts.

Do you know how many cloudy days London averages (using the same 80% sky cover definition). We have 160 a year, and 120 precipitation days, so about 80% of our cloudy days have rain/snow. Sounds like England has a far greater proportion of cloudy days without rain?

I don't know if comparable statistics are kept, but today is an example of a day with no, or close to no sunshine or rain. It often feels like a lot, whatever it is.
