I hope to God that if there are any barbaric cold arctic outbreaks this winter that I miss the worst of it this year(I will be in Fort Worth for winter break to visit family).
Where is my record wet Aug you told all of us i would have?

I hope it does every winter. I loved that. After hot winters since 1990 minus 95-96 and 2010 i can use some 1980's winters again when temps got down to 19f in Tampa like it did on Xmas of 83 and a high of 38f.

I love active winters and hurricanes. Bone dry here for days as sinking air on the west side of that low east of FL caps T storm growth. I pray for a CAT 1 this fall.

Looks like it did pull south! Currently 69 F at 11 AM in August! A nice chance over the typical hot/humid August weather down here.
