^Nothing. That's literally how it has always been in the Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, and (especially) the Midwest. On occasion, they can all get cold fronts even in mid July though obviously the effect is less pronounced then.
2014 was the last time we got a bunch in July. Good summer it was.
Good t-storm chances here the next few days with tropical moisture coming in. Hoping to get some decent rainfall. August has been quite dry so far; I have only had 0.35" month to date. However, July was very wet.
My local infinite loop continues. I haven't seen a cloud in weeks. It sounds like hyperbole, but it's not.
No end in sight in the forecast...just more sun and highs in the 80s and 90s (Fahrenheit).
