Meanwhile, in OKC, we've hit 100°F (38°C) nine times, but never gotten above 103 (39.5C). The mean number of 100 degree days is 11, but from 2013 to 2018 it never hit 100 more than five times in one summer. Also last summer was the only one in that time span that it got above 103. Today was our 27th 95-degree day, so we'll get close to the long-term average of 33 days. Last year only had 10 95-degree days, which is one of the lowest totals on record. We've hit 90 a total of 47 times, which is below the normal value of 70 times, but it can happen more even into October.

6am and I'm walking outside with sandals and shorts feeling warm (74°F!) while some folks in Wisconsin needing a sweatshirt (40s)

77° at Bridgeport, CT coast. Normal low is 65°. That'll continue to raise the Avg temp this month which is 5th warmest on record.

Yay to more rain! After a very dry almost 2 months and everything turning brown, we've had almost 2 inches of rain since Midnight Saturday night/Sunday morning! Up until that point, we hadn't even had a quarter of an inch of rain this month so this has been much needed. We also this morning had our second rainbow of the week as well.

Hot and Humid now ahead of the front with temps in 80s/90s and dews in 60s/70s but look to the north and west... Refreshing dews in the 40s/50s.
