Wow, 3pm and we're barely touching 80 throughout NYC. It's warmer in Syracuse, Buffalo, Rochester, and Albany so far today. Dews in the 50s too. That's my kind of summer day!

This mess right here will make forecast for mid August very difficult. Historically if these typhoons if they hit mainland China tend to send a teleconnection for warmth in the eastern 2/3rds. If the typhoons recurve into the North Pacific that would be a cold signal for us. Looks like one will hit China while the other 2 recurve.
I hate this muggy summer weather we are getting right now. High 88f today, low 69f. Sitting at 73 with a dew point of 70. Looks like temps will remain in the upper 80's for highs through next Tuesday and then a large temp drop.
