Gfs was showing this and now so is the Euro. Honestly the Euro hasn't performed well this summer.

Panorama of temps this morning August 1, 2019. Feels like 37° on Mt Washington. Nice fall-like 40s in WI, MI, Ontario. Still warm 70s along the coasts.

Bridgeport,CT 70° but 60s in the burbs here and it feels nice! I don't mind 60s in the morning right now! As long as it stays under 80 I'm fine in summer.

See those 57's in SouthWest NY? I'm keen to that area now since visiting my sister there in September 2 yrs ago. Couldn't believe how much colder they are vs surrounding areas.

It is very weird right now here. Highs are in the 32c or 90f range but lows are around 10c or 50f.

Warm and humid weather dominates the Fort Worth Texas area this evening, I am at the poolside right now. I will be going to San Antonio Texas tomorrow afternoon and will be going there by train. I will be back in Fort Worth Texas Sunday afternoon. I hope it rains in Fort Worth while I’m in San Antonio because I transplanted a sago palm almost a month ago and I’ve heard that sago palms take forever to get reestablished when they are moved.

I did manage to get some firewood up to the house today. Looks like we'll be using the wood stove on Sunday.

July was quite warm and sunny. In fact 14th warmest on record officially for Chicago (MDW's Mean was 78.3F) and sunniest July in 23 years. MDW which still records sunshine measured 359.3 hours of sun this month

Doesn't look like western and northern Europe will be seeing any more heat this summer according to the CFSv2

Yeah beyond the seven day forecast which is decent here there is a very sharp cool down associated with a Greenland block for the Midwest and East and especially the Northern Plains if the Euro is correct.

But the next seven days look very nice. Only small chances of storms Monday and Tuesday. No washouts or anything. I'll take the kids to the pool each day before the cool down begins.

I wonder how unseasonable that would be in NY. I can deal with a few days in the lower 70s - need to get my long training runs in

Looks like that disturbance is making it's way up the SE coast.

Really? The west coast of Florida has been getting hammered with storms these last few days. Did they miss you by a mile again?

I was offshore for 2 days 100 miles. I just know i have not had a drop since last Thurs. Rained out in the gulf coming back in so you know more than i do if it missed me by a mile. I know it rained south of my house very heavy but that was in St Pete area that is 30 miles away.
