Most of the days over the past week have like 12F diurnals - a testament to how humid, cloudy, rainy, and awful it has been

The waiting is over! 91.5hrs straight without sun. Only 3 hrs last 5.5 days. Welcome back.

Best part is.... Look at these dew points now! from 70s to 50s during the day. Cloud edge moving east. You're next Hartford, enjoy the skies when they start opening up. And the wind is coming.

My favorite wind direction happening now.
Yellow arrows = 30-39kts

Wind gusts reports.. 27kt gusts in White Plains. 45kts on Mt Washington

Windy here and sunny and dry. Temps in low 70s. Loving this June.

Makes me wonder if it’s a humid heat or a dry heat, should such heat materialize

Very likely dry heat by our standards but at least they're getting heat.

Well so am I here in Miami Beach. 90 and sunny yesterday and today looks the same. PERFECT

Back home some improvement for Chicagoland especially away from the lake with low to mid 80s away from the lakeshore and very humid. Strong/severe level storms possible too.

Interesting how our weather correlates despite our distance. Also note the unusually hot temperatures to our south (France, Southern US).

On Thursday night, it snowed on us driving across the Bitterroot Range from Idaho to Montana. It ended up being about 10°F warmer than forecast yesterday, made the mid 50s. Still cold though.

Today it's supposed to hit 65°F, which will still be 6°F below average

GFS forecasting dews in the lower 40s for downstate NY. Looks unlikely, but seems like a dry airmass will be there in early July
