Got 0.32" from a heavy downpour just after noon today; started producing some lightning after it passed thru. I've now had measurable precip for 8 days straight (yesterday was just 0.01").

86F at 2 PM with a dewpoint of 78F.

Wow, just saw that TWC is calling for 79F next Tuesday. Also 83F next Wednesday and mostly sunny which would feel unusual for July! Warmest temp in the forecast is just 91F.

Showing scattered t-storms most days for the next two weeks.

Cool anomalies centered over the southern U.S over the 6-10 day range.

Current Heat Index. I see a lot of 110-115° in Iowa. Wow! Tornado warning in Minnesota. Feels like 100+ in NJ

96F in Binghamton with storms on the way

Current temps and where the Jet stream is. Give or take. Little dip in the west. This isn't an amplified pattern. (wavy)

London has 7 days in a row of 30c or above in the forecast!

That's not even half the length of the 30c spell in 1976.

More like my lows in the summer with a west flow. No real rain in a week and it is getting dry.

I thought it was only 3 days?

It's been another July with consistent heat but no extreme heat here. So far in July, all highs have been 86-96 F / 30-36 C, the 96's being on July 9 and today (July 19). Looking like tomorrow's going to keep up the heat but after that it goes back down into the 80's.

A good July in terms of averages, but surely we can get a day of 100 or at least high 90's before the summer's over?
