Wow. Y'all are finally getting some cooking up going on. How are the lake temps? Are they finally warming up?

Finally is right. I went through a pretty brutal Jan-March period, and one of the worst May-June in memory minus the last 5 days of June which was good. The lake temps are up. Right now water temperatures at the Chicago beaches are mostly around 77F/25C which is not too bad for swimming

Very weird pattern here for July. We had heavy rain and it's very muggy and warm even at night - 97% humidity and 17c dew point.

Reason I didn't post was I was in New Orleans with my girlfriend. She had never been. At the time, New Orleans was under a strong ridge and it was clear and 97-98 every day and lows of 81. It was extremely hot and muggy, I was fine but she got thirsty and we had to stop a lot for breaks, for me just an excuse to get a pint of beer.

I'll post a pic or two in the photo forum.
Was the car under the influence of sunlight? Even a little sun light might affect.

Chicago/ORD's forecast the next seven days is just about picture perfect for me

If this 16 day forecast holds that would an absolutely amazing turnaround for this summer. Wow
