For entire month of April. (Still 6 days to go, I wonder how much bump up you'll get) Wonder if you'll beat the 46.3° average set in 1983
I've been wondering that for the last week and a half. It could happen - just barely. I'm definitely hoping for it. The forecast for the last five days of the month is 69/40 73/46 70/46 77/59 78/64.
Here is Bridgeport at the water. The cool waters aren't even keeping them down. lol
What kind of trees are those? There is more green view than here, wow!. I got more red tint from the Maples out there but not green budding like that
I was looking at my temp map this morning and glanced over the Arizona and saw Phoenix in the 70s before 7am and said to myself the same thing. Nuts. Its a warm morning here in the 50s. Feels nice though. First time since Fall. 0.10" of rain overnight. Still drizzling.
I think the weather is more boring than my area out west. This has been a odd winter and spring. Jan was above normal on rain and below normal on temps. Feb was blazing the whole month and tore up the record book and was below normal on rain. Then March was below normal on temps and had way below normal rainfall. So far Apr has been active and had over 4" of rain. So this winter- spring sure beat last years by a mile.
Today it has been nice around 78f and low dew points. Now i gotta wonder what May will bring us as May can be a wild card month for us.
Chilly day in the 50s with rain. I got 1/2" of rain. Inside the temp is 62°. The fire is lit again this evening. Can never get tired of it...but need some longer spring breaks in between

those green tress from up in Massachusetts (near Montague, MA if you're curious) were from April 22-23 2017 not this year. Shoulda specified but the photos were right below the 2017 temperature graph; not up there anymore but I imagine it's still completely bare up there…
In a perfect world it wouldn't rain during the day. I wish it could just rain at night.
Dreary day today. Temp 53°
cloud level was around 400 feet at 7 pm in Queens, fog was to the ground in Long Island. Dunno if it was the time or different place; but looked it was sinking as it got later.
another one of those spring heatwaves where interior New England gets the hottest temperature north of the Carolina [due to more dryness? and not much sun strength difference with the longer days further north?]. I see an 89°F northwest of Boston, 87°F Hartford. Snowpacks looks minor in Vermont and most of New Hampshire; guessing only Quebec could have flooding issues from snow melt.
